It is easy to say, I care. Caring is an action word. So I ask, how much do you really care? Simply caring is not enough. You have to care enough to be honest with yourself and others. To be successful you have to care more about the end results. Not just your end results, but the results of others. You may have to stay up late, missed a day of work, miss a meeting, or phone call; placing all your attention on helping others. You must care enough to apply the same effort for someone else’s success. So caring is not enough. You must care enough to see the change or help another person to the finish line.
There may have been times when you carried someone to the finish line or up the mountain. I applauded you for that. Keep caring and helping others. Remember this is not just for selfish gain. The goal is to build a strong community network of family, friends, and colleagues. As you care about others it empowers you and others. Caring is an essential element of self-empowerment.
