Grab your Coffee or Special Drink.  Think about this following statement: Ethics is much like tennis: those who fail to master the basics of serving well usually lose.  I was challenged years ago to comment on this statement.  It’s your turn. Share your thoughts in the comment field below. You are probably thinking how and what does Ethics have to do with Self- Empowerment.

Over the next few days, I will tell you how.  Let’s first start by defining Ethics. Ethics is the moral principles that govern a person’s behavior or the conduct of an activity.

Obtaining a strong foundation or understanding of any sport, process or concept is imperative the overall success or failure. It is just like building a house, if the foundation is not laid properly, the owner of the house will have problems, maybe not initially, but throughout the life of the house.

This philosophy is no different for the game of tennis or the practice of ethical behavior. Good and bad skills are developed in the infant stages of the process. One of the major focuses of Self-Empowerment is Ethics. In order to achieve self-empowerment, it is important to establish a strong ethical behavior and foundation.
