Last year I wrote about taking the exit when it appears. This year, I have a confession: I missed one.
I saw the sign. I knew what it meant. And I still stayed in the lane a little too long, circling back through a situation I thought I’d already learned from.
Here’s what I want you to know if you’ve done the same thing: missing an exit is not the same as being lost forever. The road loops for a reason. God doesn’t just give you one shot at the door — He gives you another pass, another sign, another chance to choose differently. Grace isn’t a single exit ramp; it’s a whole highway system built for people who need a second look.
1 Corinthians 10:13 doesn’t say God gives you a way out once and then leaves you stranded if you miss it. It says He is faithful — every time, every loop, every lap you did not take. The testing doesn’t disqualify you from the promise. It’s proof you’re still in a place where the promise applies.
So if you missed your exit this year: you’re not behind. You’re not disqualified. You’re just circling back with better eyes. Watch for the sign. It’s coming around again. And this time, take it.
